The challenge
AHK Motor Spares competes in one of Johannesburg's most price-sensitive retail categories. Price lists, product catalogues, and promos were being rebuilt in different tools by different people, leading to inconsistent pricing columns, mismatched type, and slow reprints.
Objectives
What success looked like
- 01Unify price list, product catalogue, and accessories catalogue into one grid system
- 02Make pricing scannable at the counter — columns, hierarchy, and stock codes consistent
- 03Keep files print-ready so any litho printer can output without rework
Approach
We audited three existing documents (price list, product catalogue, accessories catalogue) and rebuilt the grid around the most-used columns at the counter. Type and colour were tied to the brand kit so future promos (e.g., Black Friday) inherit the system instead of restarting it.
